Usitall is a Swedish company, with both roots in and strong connections to the municipality of Linköping. The company has more than 50 years of experience in developing and operating state of the art waste-to-energy facilities. With regard to energy efficiency and environmental performance, Usitall waste-to-energy facilities show some of the best results in Europe. This is the product of continuous development and improvement over the years. Today, only 1 % of household waste in Sweden goes to landfill while the rest is either recycled or recovered.
Furthermore, these waste-to-energy facilities provide unsubsidised district heating and cooling to more than 90 % of the population in Linköping, Usitall’s home town.
